51 Globes, Silver and Bronze Awards presented in 16 Campaign categories and 51 merit certificates to agencies around the world.

MGM Grand Hotel, LAS VEGAS (Oct. 15, 2007); space, UK won the Marketing Agencies Association Worldwide coveted Globe for “Best in the World” Promotion Marketing Campaign Award for “The Euro Star Quest program that encouraged travelers to once again consider London and Paris as a travel destinations in the aftermath of 7/7 London bombings and the Paris Riots. Something significant was required and the significant was executed. The agency created a multi-lingual online treasure hunt inspired by the cryptic challenges featured in, The Da Vinci Code movie. This entertainment based marketing campaign offered consumers the ultimate in prizing featuring; a 5 year luxury accommodation at the Hotel Ritz, Paris and Claridge’s, London, €200,000, including €10,000 VIP shopping experience at both Harrods and Galleries Lafayette and Luxury Travel for Life on Eurostar! The winning campaigns were identified at the 22nd Annual Globes Gala event held last night at the MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas during the annual MAA fall conference. The spectacular Globes Gala event awarded 16 Globes, 18 Silver, 17 Bronze for a total of 51 awards and plus 51 merit certificates in the ballroom filled with clients, agencies and press from around the world. 150 judges from 20 Countries, representing Agencies, Clients, Media and Industry Associations, spent a considerable time and effort judging all Entries. Each entry was judged at least 4 times. A three-tier multinational jury of client-side marketers, the media and agency executives accessed the MAA Web site where they reviewed, evaluated and ranked each campaign on the basis of creative concept, originality, execution and results. The 51 winners – representing 16 Globes winners and 35 Silver and Bronze winners – were then identified online by an international panel of agency, client, media and academic and trade association judges in Europe, Asia and North and South America.

This year’s record total of entries (402) came from a record number of agencies (165) and a record number of countries (24).
