The 2011 Challenge “Your Country’s Immediate Challenge to re-engage & maintain the employment potential of their workforces” attracted 40 Marketing Teams from Universities and Business Schools in Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Russia & the USA.

“The OtakAtik Campaign was very much a ‘self help’ solution, rather than simply an advice and job matching service.  An additional ‘Investment’ element allowed members to ‘pitch’ ideas for funding, leading to a movement which could ultimately be self supporting”. John Williams, Chairman of the Judging Panel

“With workforces around the world under serious threat from the economic paralysis gripping nations, this year’s Challenge did reflect real situations.  According to the Judges, responses from this year’s Teams demonstrated solid preparation and creativity.  Many of the Campaigns should be presented to local governments for consideration”. Mike Da Silva, VP Marketing. MAA GLOBES

A member of winning Agency Team from Binus Business School, Jakarta, attended the 2011 MAA Worldwide Fall Conference at the Copacabana Palace Hotel, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to accept the GLOBE at the President’s Dinner on Thursday, October 20.
